New College Lanarkshire supports more than 20,000 students and prides itself on an innovative approach to education. A member of Oracle Academy since 2006, the college recently teamed up with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Oracle Academy to help bridge the IT skills gap.

This collaboration combines the expertise of New College Lanarkshire, Oracle Academy and RBS into a technical and business curriculum included in a two-year Higher National Diploma. The diploma consists of Oracle Academy modules on Java Fundamentals, Java Programming, Database Design and Programming with SQL and Programming with PL/SQL.

The Black School of Business at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College is a business school that enhances classroom education through real-world projects. From industry projects and internships, to real case studies and participation in new business ventures, the College offers a comprehensive learning experience. Partnering with Oracle Academy helps bring industry-leading technology to business.

Software and curriculum offered through Oracle Academy are integrated into Penn State Behrend’s courses and student industry-based projects, providing hands-on opportunities for students to demonstrate knowledge and skills in Oracle E-Business Suite concepts and Oracle Database experience.

ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu (ICTACT)

ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu (ICTACT) is a nonprofit organization focused on enhancing the educational experiences of students in Tamil Nadu, with the goal of graduating students who are industry-ready and immediately employable in the ICT industry. ICTACT works with secondary schools and colleges to improve computer science knowledge and increase the pipeline of IT professionals with industry-led technical and business skills.

Working with ICTACT, Oracle Academy provides faculty members at ICTACT partner schools with course materials, pedagogical tools and software to teach database design, programming and business skills to students.

INACAP is the largest higher education institution in Chile with 115,000 students over 27 campuses throughout the country. More than 65,000 students have benefited from Oracle Academy’s curriculum and software provided by Oracle Academy since 2002. Oracle Academy resources are embedded in the IT Engineering and Programming Analyst degree programs.

INACAP requires all its faculty members who teach Oracle Academy courses to attain Oracle professional certifications. To help train its faculty, INACAP relies on Oracle Academy benefits, like curriculum and discounts on Oracle Certification resources. To date, more than 51 faculty members at 24 campuses have attained Oracle certifications.
