The Black School of Business at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, wanted to help enrich hands-on student learning and better prepare students for job opportunities upon graduation.
Through the partnership with Oracle Academy, Penn State Behrend students learn using Oracle e-Business Suite software. The software is integrated into existing courses and student projects based on real industry situations.
Penn State Behrend business students report that, thanks to Oracle Academy, they have obtained internships and employment due in part to their knowledge and application of Oracle e-Business Suite.
Through the collaboration with Oracle Academy, Penn State Behrend students have the opportunity to learn with Oracle eBusiness Suite software, which is used by companies and organizations worldwide. The college has a live instance of the Oracle eBusiness Suite and access to the Oracle training material provided by Oracle Academy. Both are integrated into existing Penn State Behrend courses and student projects based on real industry situations. Students learn how to use the Oracle eBusiness Suite software and how it relates to enterprise resource planning, general business processes and business theory.
Oracle Academy’s tools have helped enrich student learning and better prepare students for job opportunities upon graduation.
